    A Typical Day

A day designed around each child's well-being and rhythm.

We want to offer families genuine everyday support, built on listening, trust, and kindness. Our educational team ensures a reassuring environment in which every child can develop peacefully throughout the day. Because every child is unique, our daily organisation stays flexible and adapts to each child's needs, rhythm, and habits.

    How a day unfolds

    Before 9am

    Gentle arrival

The day starts gently so children can settle into their surroundings gradually. They are welcomed in a calm, reassuring atmosphere conducive to first exchanges and reunions with the educational team. Individual nappy changes and toilet visits are offered throughout the morning. A balanced, varied breakfast is offered to children who arrive early.

    9–9:30am

    Free play & exploration

Welcoming continues across the nursery's various living spaces. Children have time for free play, independent activities, and prepared spaces that foster discovery, interaction, and exploration.

    From 9:30am

    Activity time

The morning is punctuated by various pedagogical activities adapted to children's age, interests, and needs. Activities may be guided by the educational team or left to the children's own initiative, to foster creativity, curiosity, and experimentation. Whenever possible, children enjoy the outdoor spaces and the garden, all year round.

    From 11am

    Midday meal

Children arriving later in the morning are welcomed progressively. Lunch is then served in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We pay particular attention to nutritional balance as well as the pleasure of discovering and sharing meals together.

    12–12:30pm

    Quiet time

After the meal, children have a quiet time that includes individual nappy changes, toilet visits, and toothbrushing. Some children then go home, while others gently prepare for rest time.

    12:30–1pm

    Nap & rest

Nap time is organised according to each child's needs and rhythm. We respect individual sleep habits to offer a peaceful, reassuring rest period. Children wake up gradually and calmly, with the necessary individual care.

    Around 3:30pm

    Afternoon snack

A balanced, varied afternoon snack is offered to children, made up of fruit, a dairy product, and/or a cereal, depending on the day. This friendly moment also fosters exchange and the pleasure of spending time together.

    From 4pm

    Free play

Children enjoy free play time and activities indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather and their preferences. These moments allow the day to end in a relaxed atmosphere suited to each child's rhythm.

    7–7:15pm

    Evening dinner

For children present in the evening, dinner is offered, followed by toothbrushing and a quiet time. Children who need it can then be accompanied to a rest or nap time.

    Until 11pm

    Gradual departures

Departures happen gradually throughout the evening, respecting each child's rhythm and family arrangements.

    The settling-in period

Starting nursery is an important milestone. We offer a plan spread over one week, while ideally recommending two weeks for an even gentler, more gradual settling-in that respects each child's rhythm.

    1

    Day 1

About 1 hour with parents present, to get to know the educational team and discover the premises together.

    2

    Day 2

About 1 hour, including 30 minutes with parents then 30 minutes alone, for a first gentle separation.

    3

    Day 3

About 2 hours, with 15 minutes with parents then 1h45 alone, including sharing a meal.

    4

    Day 4

About 4 hours alone, allowing the child to experience mealtime and nap time at the nursery.

    5

    Day 5

About 6 hours alone, to experience a short full day through to the afternoon snack.

This schedule is flexible and adapted to each child: some need more time, others adapt more quickly.

A pedagogy that respects each child's rhythm

Three complementary approaches, present both indoors and outdoors.

    Montessori

    Nurturing autonomy and self-confidence

Our approach guides the child toward autonomy while respecting their natural rhythm. We provide suitable materials (mostly wooden), presented on trays, to encourage experimentation, concentration and the joy of learning by oneself. Our role is to observe, accompany and guide with kindness, without doing things for the child.

"Help me to do it myself."

    Free Movement (Pikler)

    Respecting natural development

Every child naturally has the ability to develop their motor skills at their own pace. We avoid imposing positions they have not yet mastered. In our nurseries, there are no high chairs or barred cots — only floor beds, which foster closeness with the adult and freedom of movement.

"A child who acts freely in an atmosphere of emotional security develops their abilities better."

    Snoezelen

    Relaxation and sensory discoveries

Safe multisensory environments where children discover visual, auditory, tactile and light stimulation in a soothing atmosphere. This approach supports emotional well-being, relaxation, emotional regulation and the awakening of the senses.

"Offering a space where children can feel, explore and relax safely nurtures their well-being and blossoming."

We want to offer parents genuine support, as available, attentive professionals committed to accompanying them on their parenting journey.
